Lash Extension Aftercare
Lash Extension aftercare is so important. If you do not keep your lashes clean, dirt, oil, and debris will build up on the lash line and can cause premature fallout, damage to the natural lashes, and eye conditions associated with lash mite infestation and infection. Taking care of your lash extensions is easy and will not result in premature lash loss. By following this simple routine, your lashes will last longer, look better, and maintain the integrity of your natural lashes and eye health.

To give yourself a lash bath, pump one pump of lash shampoo onto a brush or directly onto the eyelashes and work into the lash line. It is important to also wash the lid and undereye to remove dead skin and debris.
When you are finished, rinse and pat dry with a microfiber towel or air dry. If you really want to be like the pros, pick up one of our rechargeable fans and water bottles for rinsing at your next appointment!

It doesn't stop there
While maintaining lash extensions is relatively simple, there are a few other things that when kept in mind will promote lash health and longevity.
1. Be sure to keep your fills scheduled
Try pre-booking your fills before you leave the salon. Our stylists schedule's fill up fast and we would hate for you not to get in on time. Coming in for fills allows your artist to remove and replace any outgrown lash extensions that could cause damage if left in place.
2. Avoid picking or pulling
This can damage the natural lash and affect the results of your lash appointments in the future. If you are a side or face sleeper, we recommend a satin pillow case or sleeping on your back.
3. Avoid using oil or alcohol based products
Both oil and alcohol will break down the lash adhesive, causing premature lash fallout. We do not recommend using micellar water or makeup wipes.
4. Brush your lash extensions daily
This will help prevent stickies and irritation.
